Description

Take the next step beyond a CNA license. Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses and Qualified Medication Aides (QMAs) are all members of a team responsible for giving residents in extended care environments the correct medication. This course meets the Indiana State Department (ISDH) standards for QMA training and equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to sit for the ISDH QMA certification exam.

Prerequisites

Must provide proof of working as a CNA within the last 2 years with at least 1,000 hours of experience. Must currently be on the Indiana CNA state registry without findings. Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
